Knotty

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Knotty is a puzzle game made by Acloe Technology Ventures ("we"). This policy explains what the game collects, why, and how you can delete it. Questions: write to the developer email on Knotty's Google Play or App Store page.

What we collect

Your game progress (levels, stars, streaks, Thread balance, collectibles and settings) is stored on your device only.

What we don't do

How we protect it

All data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Service providers that host our servers and crash reports handle it only on our behalf, and only to run the game.

How long we keep it

Your account, name and scores are kept until you delete your account. Crash reports are deleted automatically within 90 days.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This immediately and permanently removes your account, leaderboard name and scores. You can also ask us to do it; see Delete your Knotty account. Uninstalling the app removes the progress stored on your device.

Children

Knotty is intended for players aged 13 and over. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to object to how it's used. Write to the developer email on Knotty's Google Play or App Store page and we'll respond within 30 days.

Changes

We'll post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
